26/03/2020 · If MAC address filtering is enabled then navigate to Settings > General > About on Apple TV to get Apple TV's MAC address and add the address to your router's list. Last thing you can try is checking, if your router is set to WEP, you might consider switching the wireless security to WPA or WPA2. Also, it is helpful to disable your internet security and check if the device can connect or not
True, my Mac cannot hold a WiFi connection, but that is only at home. At school, it works just fine. Also at home, when my Mac tries to connect, it disconnects all other devices from the WIFI and sometimes even those with ethernet connections stop working. I have a MacBook air from 2011 running 10.13.6 macOS High Sierra and Spectrum as my ISP.
Turn off Airport, go to System Preferences > Network, then select Wi-Fi in the list on the left and then click Advanced. Select the network you wish to forget, press the (-) and agree to Remove.
Hi, I have a Macbook Pro that shows full WiFi signal, but the applications that should connect to the internet (safari, Google chrome, iTunes, etc.) will not connect. All other devices in the house connect through WiFi. If I connect the mac directly to the modem/router through Ethernet, everything works fine.
